Aruba is known for its sun, sand and beaches, rated among the best in the world. Nevertheless our hospitality and friendliness are as important factors for our visitors and local population alike. The Aruba Tourism Authority developed the Aruba Quality Seal program, in collaboration with locally renowned and established partner, QESH.
The Aruba Quality Seal is a business development tool that establishes the desired tourism professionalism and hospitality industry standards demanded by our visitors as well as proactively encouraging local businesses to continuously enhance our quality standards.

HOW TO GET A SEAL IN 4 EASY STEPS

Four simple steps will get you the Aruba Quality Seal. Please be aware that you will be requested to fill in detailed information about your company during the assessment.

1. Register online
2. Fill in online assessment forms
3. Receive a report and/or site visit
4. You will receive an Aruba Quality Seal upon meeting all quality standards requirements

18 Questions, divided over 4 segments:

  • Chemicals and Janitorial Material
  • Sustainability & Green & Waste Handling

Section C:
5 Questions, divided over 2 segments:

Section D:
33 Questions, divided over 2 segments

  • Shop, marketing and sales
  • General Health and Safety

Criteria to pass AQS certification:

All 34 Mandatory / must questions must be positive implemented and total of 80 points must be scored.

Section A:
50 Questions divided over 3 segments:

  • Customer Service
  • Operations and Facilities
  • Restaurant responsibilities, food safety awareness and exploitation

Section B:
22 Questions, divided over 4 segments:

  • Equipment / Material Design and Use
  • Pest Control
  • Chemicals and Janitorial Material
  • Sustainability & Green & Waste & Refuse Handling

Section C:
18 Questions, divided over 2 segments:

  • Personal Hygiene and Health
  • Sanitation

Section D:
32 Questions, divided over 2 segments:

  • Food Preparation and Handling Process
  • General Health and Safety

Criteria to pass AQS certification:

All 56 Mandatory / must questions must be positive implemented and total of 90 points must be scored.

Tour Operators
